My hands are the hands

Today we used our fine motor skills to glue hands and feet to our papers.  We also learned a new song!  "My hands are the hands that God will use"  The poem is printed on their papers, yet you can also find the song on youtube :)

Water Day!

Today we had an impromptu water day! 

Some of the children loved the sprinkler, while others played in the water table!

June News

Welcome to summer!

We will be having LOTS of water days this summer!  

Most likely, daily!

Please remember to bring in the following items by Tuesday:

Swim Suit

Towel

Swim diapers

Sun hat/sun visor/baseball cap

Optional:  Swim shoes, water shirt

Each child will have their own "suit bag" on their cubby hook.  It's a cinch bag that you may take home each week and return with their washed suits and towels.

Most other activities that are outdoors will require either an extra outfit (we will get dirty J) OR their bathing suit.  Thanks so much!

During the summer we will be visiting the 2's class room quite often as well.

All of our sweet toddlers are ready to move up to their new classroom soon, so we will make sure they have plenty of exposure to their new upcoming room!

We do not have the date of transition set yet, but feel free to stop in and check out the two's classroom downstairs across from the rec room.

We are in need of some items (new or used) for our outdoor curriculum for the summer: 

Plastic flowers (all kinds)

Small watering cans

Muffin tins

Planter boxes/pots

Bug nets (at least 6)

All colors of pool noodles

Any pots and pans that will hold up in weather/sand

To celebrate the end of our school year, and the beginning of summer we will be having a

Luau on FRIDAY, JUNE 8^th  

Please join us around 3:30 in the small play yard as we celebrate our children together with some snacks and outdoor fellowship & fun! 

Snack sign up will be on the clipboard the week prior.

We love and adore all of your children. 

We have had such a great year with each and every one of them and we will miss them greatly!

Thank you for sharing them with us!  We all feel truly blessed.

Salt paintings and outdoor play

 Painting with salt is a neat sensory project!
