Welcome to the Toddler Room!

Hello Toddler families!  My name is Kelly Van Hook and I will be your child's lead teacher this year.  I have loads of fun and exciting things planned for this year so check the blog weekly to find out what your child is up to!

Today we had fun poking our food with our forks!

We also had fun using our new paint brushes for painting!

Glow sticks & Campfires!

                      This morning we made "campfires" with crayons, markers, and painted hands!

 Can you guess what project we have for tomorrow?  Let me know if you need S'more hints...!

We had a blast with our glow sticks!  We sat in the tent and sang this little light of mine,

and played with our glow sticks. The children thought they were pretty awesome!

and no, Audrey's glow stick was not IN her nose...she wanted to smell it...!

                 We were experiementing to see if the glow sticks would sink or float in water...

Caelen LOVED the glowing colors in the dark classroom!

Welcome Joyful Noise Toddler Campers!

Our toddlers are camping this week!  They love hanging out in the tent Miss Angel brought in for us, and using Miss Kelly's sleeping bags! 

This week we will be doing some camping crafts, experimenting  with glow sticks, and singing camping songs around our little "campfire".  Stay tuned for S'more camping photos later in the week! :)

Buggy ride to the Carnival!

We had a very busy day today...! 

We took a buggy ride downtown to see the carnival rides being set up.  Quite a few of the children wanted to get out and ride on the rides :)
It was so warm, so when we returned, we played in the water tables for a little while.
It was such a fun day!
