Today we went for a nature hunt, finding all sorts of beautiful and different leaves.
We started at Central park!
Then walked down town, looking at all the trees on the streets,
and flower boxes in the windows.
Kale & Rhubarb
and mini purple, orange and red peppers!
On our way back we saw lots of pretty things!
A leaf as big as Harper's face! :)
Each moment with children is a teachable moment!
We learned about yellow,
and red!
Some trees have berries 
We learned about "empty" trees
and "full" trees!
We also saw other nature items that were the same colors as the leaves on the trees that we saw.
We saw tall leaves, and short leaves
and BIG and small leaves!
During our collage making, we felt crunchy leaves,
and soft leaves!
and our paper was STICKY!
They loved sticking their hands to it!
Our nature collage turned out beautiful!
