Seed planting

Today we learned about how seeds grow!

The children loved putting sod in their planters

and are already asking when their

carrots, green bean and flowers will grow!

I also had to share these photos of Caelen & Johnny...

Silly boys!

Seed art pieces

Today we read Jack and the Beanstalk, and talked about how if you plant seeds they will grow!

We shook the seeds to hear how some are soft sounding and some are loud sounding.

Then we ripped them open (great for fine motor skills!!)

Then we glued some seeds to the "ground"

Charlie was caught in the act of sharing with Sophia!

Remember to check in weekly to see what we are up to!

May News

We LOVE being outside, therefore we will be going outside as much as we possibly can each day.

Children learn mostly through play so we will be taking our curriculum outdoors!

Don’t forget to ask your child to tell you about their day…

Asking questions not only makes the children feel special, it also enhances their verbal skills!

FYI: We will apply an SPF 50 sunscreen to your child each morning and each afternoon before heading outside. Please remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather, or leave a little jacket or sweater for those chilly days.

You may also want to bring a HAT in for those really sunny days!

Joyful Noise will be closed on Monday, May 29^th for

Memorial Day

ANNUAL TEUSINK’S PONY FARM!! FRIDAY, MAY 19^th at 6pm.
