Apple picking and painting

Yesterday we used our fine motor skills

by picking up apples with tongs.

It was so fun!

And today we used the rest of our apples (thanks Weaver family!) for cutting open,

looking at the STAR inside, and then painting with them!

Happy Friday!!

Apple tasting and more

Today we explored the insides of apples, as well as what the different apples tasted like.

We tried Red Delicious, Fuji, Gala, Jonagold, Cortlant, and Golden Delicious. The two most liked were the Jonagold's and the Golden Delicious!  The Cortland's were very tart...

Then we had a yummy lunch!!
