coloring coffee filters

Today we used our fine motor skills to color coffee filters!

Then we sprayed them with water to make the colors "melt!"

We painted with green and red for Christmas colors!

We also had a blast playing in a big box that Jake's dad brought us (thank you!)  

Even boxes can become teachable moments :) 

We had a great time hanging out together today!

December News!

                Just a few Reminders:

Joyful Noise will be closed December 24^th and 25^th as well as January 1^st 

The Toddler Christmas party will be held at 3:00pm(ish) on Thursday, December 20^th.  

Parents and grandparents are welcome to come too!  

There will be a sign up sheet for snacks on the clipboard the week prior.

It is such a fun party and we hope to see you all there!

(If your child does not attend that day, feel free to join us with them!)

The toddler’s have a Christmas wish list outside the classroom door.  Feel free to grab an item, wrap it and bring it to the classroom sometime before the party date.  We will be having the children open the gifts up at our Christmas party!

Please remember that we will go outside DAILY when the weather permits.   

Please have snow pants, boots, water proof mittens, mitten clips, 

a hat and winter coat with your child each day.

Please keep these items in their labeled, white trash bag

Don't forget to LABEL all their items so we can keep their things together!

The past couple months we have been working very hard with the children on using their words. We have been so happy with how they are responding to this!

We can also tell that you are all working with your children at home on this, and we TRULY appreciate it!

They are growing so fast, and some of them are talking so much more than just a few weeks ago.  

If you ever have any questions regarding their development please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone call or just find me in the classroom at a time where it is not too busy to chat.
