December News!

                        December is upon us already!  

The toddler’s will have a Christmas wish list outside the classroom door.  Feel free to grab an item, wrap it and place it under our tree!

We will be having the children open the gifts up at our Christmas party!

                                      Reminders and Info:

Joyful Noise will be closed December 25^th and 26^th as well as January 1^st 

Please remember that we will go outside when the weather permits.   Please have snow pants, boots, water proof mittens, a hat and winter coat with your child each  day!

Happy 2^nd birthday to Rose on December 15^th! 

Our monthly objectives:  Using language to express our thoughts and needs,

regulating emotions and behaviors and 

Lunchtime manners/patience, keeping our food on the plate and cups on the table.

Our Annual Toddler Christmas party will be held at 3:00pm(ish) on Monday, December 18^th. 

Family is welcome to come too!  There will be a sign up sheet for snacks on the clipboard the week prior.

It is such a fun party! Hope to see you all there!

If your child does not attend that day, feel free to join us with them!

Leaf collage day

Last week we made a collage out of the pretty fall leaves that we found!

We learned about big and small, and about crunchy leaves and soft leaves. We also talked about how God made different leaves fall from different trees!

We also used our fine motor skills by filling water bottles with pom poms!

Then we opened up our "Communication Station!"

The children are hard at work sending emails, 

taking "selfies"

going shopping,

and making phone calls!

Right before Thanksgiving we made a Thankfulness tree,

it's on the window in the classroom. Check it out!

And today, we had one of our last circle times with our beloved Miss Kay...
