Walking and Painting!
Today, we finally were able to go on a walk outside! The kiddos were SO excited to finally go on a stroll after months of being snowed in for the Winter. After enjoying watching squirrels run up the trees and cars pass alongside us, we went inside to enjoy a painting activity. They sure do love Bingo Dotters!
Bubble Wrap Walk!
Thanks to Ms. Sally, we were able to experiment with some giant bubble wrap to create an intriguing and innovative learning experience for the toddlers! The kiddos really enjoyed stomping the bubbles, listening and laughing as they popped under their feet. They also enjoyed using their fine motor skills to poke and pop bubbles from different angles.
Sensory Bin Play!
Today, in the toddler room, we explored some interesting sensory bins! The variety of textures, shapes, colors, consistencies, and sizes allowed the kiddos to use fine and gross motor skills during playtime. Some of the children enjoyed stomping on the cereal and pasta, feeling the crunch under their feet. Other children enjoyed scooping cotton balls with large spoons.
Valentine's Day Playdough Fun!
The kiddos LOVED playing with some colorful, new Playdough today! They used various tools to explore texture, size and shape as they created circles and squares. Thank you to all the families who brought little Valentine's gifts and treats for the children and staff. We appreciate and value each and every one of you!
