HAPPY FALL!
October is going to be a busy month for us!
Everyone has settled in quite well,
and the children have been awesome with
all our daily routines.
Their favorite being "circle time" :)
Remember to ask them each day what they have learned, or what they did!
Most of them will be able to tell you in one way or another.
If bedtime is a battle with your toddler, you are not alone: 75 per cent of children under five experience some kind of sleep problem.
It is no surprise that your child dislikes loud bangs and fireworks; a toddler’s brand new ears are far better at picking up higher frequencies than the average adult.
By the age of three, your toddler will have developed around 1,000 trillion connections between the cells in her brain, which is around twice as many as the average adult!
We are in need of a variety of apples for next week's apple exploration! Feel free to drop off apples to the classroom anytime!
We are also in need of some pumpkins and
some fruit for the month's lessons.
Please do not feel obligated, but if you feel led,
we definitely could use them!
Check the list below and drop off in the classroom before the date needed :)
1 Large pumpkin (needed by Oct. 16th)
15 small pumpkins (needed by Oct. 16th)
1 Pint each of blueberries & raspberries
2 Star fruit (all fruit is needed by Oct. 30th)
2 peaches
2 kiwi
2 plums
We have been working hard on TABLE MANNERS
the past few weeks.
Ask your child these questions to see what their answers are:
"where does your cup go?" (our cup goes UP on the table)
"what do you do with your fork?" (poke your food)
"where does your food go?" (our food stays on our plate)
They get so excited when we play our manners game!
Don't forget your book orders are due by 10am on October 20th! There are SO many great books out there! Go to www.scholastic.com to place your order. Each order placed helps us get FREE books for our classroom!!
Check out the blog each week for new photos of
your adorable children!!
To Adalyn Kilpatrick on October 15th!
Just a reminder, always feel free to email me with any questions regarding anything!
We are big on communication in the toddler room :)
Have a great Month!
