Apple tasting and Apple painting!

What a busy week we've had!  With picture day taking up a couple mornings this week, we had to use our time wisely...

                                             Today we painted with the apples!

 We learned that when you cut the apple in half, there is a star in the middle!

 Charly had a good time painting!

 Sohpia was working hard!

 Audrey is concentrating very hard...

 Sadie does not seem impressed... :)

 Caelen and Lily love it!

 Ryan and Johnny dug right in.

 

 Harper liked painting too!

 But not the taste of the paint...

After that, we did some apple tasting!

We had 4 different types of apples and most of the children

loved them all!

 Ryan thought the BIG Honey Crisp apple was fun!

 Harper tried a piece!

 Audrey wanted a whole apple... :)

 Johnny couldn't get enough!

 Ryan found it tasty...

 and Caelen did too!

 Charlie wanted to show me his,

 and Rilynn just laughed a lot :)

  Sadie tried it... but didn't like it...

 Lily loved the apples!

 Charly wasn't convinced...

 And Sophia wasn't either!

 So she ate pretzels :)

 As did Sadie...!

Veggie tasting!

                                                                        Happy Monday everyone! 

We welcomed our new friend Sophia today! 

And we also had fun with Vegetables!

Caelen was super excited to see what vegetables we had!

 Audrey liked the pea pods, broccoli and carrots!  She tried a radish, yellow and red peppers and some squash but did not like them...

Sadie loved touching the vegetables, and ate yellow peppers, broccoli and purple cauliflower!

 Ryan tried a radish, but did not like it...

 Charlie tried a radish ( he did NOT like it), squash, broccoli, a yellow carrot and a red pepper!

 He isn't too sure about this vegetable tasting idea though...

 Johnny likes the look of the carrots!

 Sophia is touching her radish, deciding if she wants to try it or not...

 Rilynn is having fun!

 Chloe would like us to take back her

yellow pepper...

 Sadie says YUM!

 "You want me to eat what??"  :)

 Johnny wasn't too sure about the radish...

 Sadie was not a big fan of the broccoli :)

 Chloe isn't sure about it, but she tried the yellow pepper!

 Audrey loved the pea pods! ( she called them green beans)

 Rilynn tried a radish, yellow pepper, purple cauliflower, purple carrot, broccoli and squash!  She liked the purple carrot the best.

 The girls were taking it all in!

 Caelen tried the yellow peppers, broccoli, pea pods, and squash, but did not really like them... :)

Johnny loved the red pepper and pea pods but played with everything else.

 Ryan liked the purple carrot though!
