Three Fun and Easy Toddler Games

I Spy:

What You Need:
--One empty water bottle or clear pop bottle
--Enough white rice to fill the bottle about 3/4 full
--Small recognizable items that will fit through
   the opening of your bottle

Directions:
--Put your items inside the bottle, then the rice,
secure the top, then shake it up
--Once you are done, your child can shake the
bottle and look for the hidden items in the bottle

This can also double as a music shaker!

Ice Cube Treasure Hunt

What you need:
--One tupperwear bowl and lid
--Water
--Toy Hammer or Spoon
--A few water safe toys

Directions:
--Fill the tupperwear half full of water
--Place the toys in the water
--Freeze for 8ish hours

When it is frozen, let your child hammer or chisel the ice to get to the toy treasures!  You can do this outside, in a small shallow storage tote or you can do this in the bathtub.

Cardboard Tube Game

What you need:
--empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls
--tape
--toys that will fit through the tube
  (matchbox cars work great)

Directions:
--Tape the tubes up on a wall, or on the back of
   furniture
--send toys down the tubes
